What happened to Joe Gatto from Impractical Jokers We thought the show ‘Impractical Jokers’ would end before any of the show’s stars, Murr, Q, Joe, and Sal, left the show. So, we were understandably shocked to hear the news that Joe Gatto would be leaving the series after 10 long seasons as a star.
Impractical Jokers follows a unique antic where the 4 lifelong friends would command each other to pull outrageous stunts in public. It was a unique concept that saw great success, and Joe, the most shameless of all the jokers, was one to watch out for.
Did Joe Gatto leave Impractical Jokers
So it goes without saying that he will be missed. But why did he leave? Please find out the unfortunate reason that forced him to quit the series in this video. Joe was clear about why he was leaving when he announced it around New Year’s.
He wrote a lengthy post on his socials to ensure no confusion. “I just wanted to let you all know that I will no longer be involved with ‘Impractical Jokers, he wrote. He did not go into much detail but stated that a personal family problem was causing him to make that decision.
He shared how he and his longtime wife, Bessy Gatto, had decided to separate after almost 9 years of marriage, so now I need to focus on being the best father and co-parent to our two incredible kids, he added.
He and Bessy have been married since 2013 and share two children; a daughter Milana, 6, and a son Remington, 4. He spoke no further on his marriage’s end but instead chose to thank his best friends and costars. He also thanked all of his fans and that of the show, saying seeing you laugh been my own medicine, particularly in these weird and difficult times we find ourselves.
His friends have also since reacted to the big news. The rest of the Jokers, Sal, Q, and Murr, first reposted Joe’s farewell address in their socials. Then they all wrote the same address, which read as follows;
While we are saddened to see him go, we want to keep making people laugh, keep our relationship with the ‘Impractical Jokers’ fans going, and keep working with the members of our team that we consider family.
Actress Danica McKellar who appeared in one of the show’s episodes, also commented on Joe’s post, writing, “We are all with you,” followed by heart
emojis. Impractical Jokers, as previously announced, will still return for season 10 but without Joe for the first time. However, they have had to cancel the group’s upcoming “Scoopski
Potatoes Tour,” which we suspect is because of Joe’s exit.

Part of us is hoping this is part of some sick prank by the guys, but we are afraid there is no way they can stoop down so low for a publicity stunt. We’ll certainly miss Joe, and the show will never be the same without him.
